Singing is like breathing to me and if it’s music that I love, I just go with it. Roger Moss

Roger is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He holds a B.A. in Interpersonal Communication from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. He spent 15 years in radio advertising. Five years ago he gave in to the art muse that so pervades Savannah and became a full time singer, vocal coach, and most importantly co-founder and Artistic Director of the critically acclaimed Savannah Children’s Choir. He proudly calls Savannah home. He serves on the board of the Habersham YMCA, the Chatham County Board of Health, the Rotary Club of Savannah, the Downtown Business Association, the Downtown Neighborhood Association

and the Downtown Neighborhood Association. He is Chairman of the Board for Savannah Classical Academy, a new public charter school. Mr. Moss believes that the role of education is to produce better people and better citizens.

Not comfortable with simply being discontent he is a man of action.

He is a sought-after speaker on topics ranging from the arts to education.

An Intimate Evening with Roger Moss Onstage at the Lucas

Thursday, July 16

Lucas Theatre
Roger, accompanied by Eric Jones invites you to join him OnStage for an evening of beautiful music, lots of laughter, a few tears, and possibly some dancing.  Music from the American Songbook, hymns, a little Broadway, a little Jazz, and a lot of heart.

Realized in the summer of 2013, the Onstage cabaret series has since been an integral part of the Lucas Theatre repertoire. As the name suggests, Onstage provides the community with a unique entertainment experience, allowing patrons to enjoy talented performers in an intimate setting. Bathed in soft light and classic tunes, theatre-goers share the stage with the performer while enjoying a stocked bar and hors d’oeuvres. Past cabaret features include music from greats such as Judy Garland, Edith Piaf, and Johnny Mercer; and have left audiences laughing, crying, dancing, and always wanting more.
